Do you know Fluff? It has to be the easiest dessert/salad you can make. And it is completely versatile too, pick your jello flavor and fruit to match. If you love strawberries; use strawberry jello with fresh strawberries. If you love orange; choose orange jello with mandarin oranges. If you love pistachio; use pistachio jello, and so on and so on and so on. You can even throw in sliced bananas to any flavor. In this household; pistachio was my father’s favorite, Jana’s is strawberry, and Curtis’ (my brother) was orange. Let’s move on to the recipe.
1 16 oz container small curd cottage cheese
1 16 oz container cool whip
1 3 oz box of jello
1 to 2 cups of mini marshmallows
1 to 2 cups of sliced fruit (if you use canned fruit be sure to drain the juice off)
1. Mix together gently the cottage cheese and cool whip.
2. Stir in jello until it is all incorporated.
3. Add marshmallows and fruit and gently stir in.
4. Place in fridge for at least 1 hour to set.
Enjoy this yummy fruity salad as a side dish to any meal!
