A delicious pasta with fresh spring vegetables for your dinner table tonight.
Fresh vegetables have the perfect place in this pasta primavera; primavera means spring. I added asparagus, yellow squash, tomatoes, and fresh basil to my pasta primavera but you can add your own choice. Perhaps you would like peppers, or zucchini, or onions; I am sure any of those will taste flavorsome. The main idea behind pasta primavera is the use of fresh vegetables.
I love having a garden because then I can use the fresh vegetables from my garden, although this time I concocted my pasta primavera with vegetables from the farmer stand just outside of Fallbrook. That is another enchanting thing about living in Fallbrook, we have farmer stands scattered all along the outskirts of town. I dare say there are 4 within 10 minutes of downtown Fallbrook. And they are open year round selling seasonally produce.
I have fallen in love with farmer stands and find great delight in visiting them to see what delectable fruits or vegetables have grown and are waiting to be eaten. Farmer markets are a delight too, but the stands are only going to be selling produce and seasonally produce. Embrace the farm to table mentality, it is so healthy, satisfying, and lovely.
