It’s almost Easter and its time to start getting your children’s Easter baskets ready! We decided to make Colby an Easter basket, because its his first Easter! I decided to make him a Marvel Avenger’s Easter basket, since I love Avengers and that’s my prerogative as a parents, right? And who doesn’t love Avengers anyway?
So I went to Walmart and grabbed everything I needed for the cutest Avenger’s Easter basket ever. I got a cute little Avengers bucket, with our favorites Captain America, Iron Man, Thor and Hulk on the outside. And I stuffed it full of everything Avengers. I got an Avenger’s Kite from the toy department, and from the Easter area: an Avengers themed squirt gun, spinning tops, and even some awesome Iron Man fillable Easter eggs.
And of course since Colby is young enough to not know any better, I got to sneak some pictures of him with his Easter basket before the big day. Of course his favorite part was opening up the Iron Man Easter eggs, stuffed full of his favorite snacks, like puffs, goldfish crackers and teddy grahams.
Since getting married Easter has been a pretty laid back holiday, I love Easter candy so I always have to buy a few bags of my Easter favorites and stuff them into Easter eggs and hide them around the house for Nate to find. We usually divide the eggs in half and take turns hiding and then finding the eggs that the other found for us. Of course it’ll be even more fun when we can hide eggs for Colby and watch him go around finding them. Then we usually end up dying our boiled Easter eggs on Easter, its fun to see who can come up with the best ideas to decorate them. This year we have the help of an Avengers Egg Decorating Kit to make our eggs better than ever!
Don’t forget to head to Walmart to fill your kids’ Easter baskets and for all your Easter needs!
I’d love to hear your family’s Easter traditions!

Our kids do two egg hunts, one first thing in the morning w/ just us that the easter bunny hides the eggs we’ve colored and then when the rest of the family comes we have big hunt out in our back yard. This has been our tradition as long as I can remember. My son would love this avengers basket!
