<p>These egg rolls give you everything you love about a juicy cheeseburger all wrapped up in a crunchy egg roll shell. My version is easy to make with ground beef, cheese, bacon bits, and a few seasonings, so they&rsquo;re super easy to make. Quick and easy, and taste like a cheeseburger in every bite.</p>

<p><strong>Step 1: Saute the Onion. </strong>Add a little olive oil to a skillet, add in the diced onion and saute for a few minutes until soft. Add in the bacon bits and cook for a couple more minutes.</p>

<p><strong>Step 2: Cook the Beef. </strong>Add the ground beef to a bowl and add in the Worcestershire sauce, garlic salt, paprika, and black pepper. Mix together in the bowl until evenly mixed. Add the ground beef to the saute pan and cook, crumbling it up until its cooked through.</p>

<p><strong>Step 3: Mix in the Cheese.</strong> Add the cooked beef mixture to a large bowl, add in the cheddar cheese, and pickle relish (if using). Fold it all together.</p>

<p><strong>Step 4: Fold up the Egg Rolls.</strong> Take an egg roll wrapper and add a couple heaping Tablespoons of the mixture to the center. Fold in the edges, then roll it up the middle. Use a little water to seal the edges with your fingers.</p>

<p><strong>Step 5: Fry the Egg Rolls.</strong> Add 1 inch of oil to a deep skillet and heat over medium high. Add each egg roll and cook for 3 to 4 minutes on each side until golden brown all over. Remove from the oil and set on a napkin. Serve warm with ketchup, mustard, or <a href="https://lmld.org/french-fry-dipping-sauces/">fry sauce</a>. </p>

<li><strong>Egg Roll Wrappers:</strong> Keep your extra egg rolls covered with a damp rag or paper towel to keep them from drying out.&nbsp;</li>



<li><strong>Oil Temperature: </strong>Check the oil temperature for best results. You want the oil to be 350 F for a nice crispy exterior while allowing the interior to cook completely, and not letting the outside burn. If you aren&rsquo;t using a thermometer make sure to test one egg roll in the oil, and if it is browning too quickly (less than our suggested time) lower the temperature.</li>



<li><strong>Bake Instead: </strong>Bake the egg rolls by brushing the outsides in oil, and baking at 425 F for about 15 to 20 minutes, or until the egg rolls are golden, flipping them half way through baking. They won&rsquo;t be as crispy, but will save you a few calories.</li>



<li><strong>Store Before Serving: </strong>Cooking your egg rolls in batches is the best for even cooking. Store the already baked rolls on a pan in an oven pre-heated to 250 F to keep them warm.</li>

<p>You can store the leftover cheeseburger egg rolls in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days. Heat them up in the oven at 350 for about 10 to 15 minutes, or in the air fryer at 325 for about 10 minutes.</p>



<p>They can also be frozen by wrapping each egg roll individually in foil, then placing them in a freezer safe bag. Cook them straight from frozen by adding about 7-8 minutes to the baking time.</p>
