These Froot Loop treats only take about 5 minutes to make and are the perfect treat for packing along on a busy day with errands, for an afterschool snack, or an afternoon at the pool.
I used the new Kellogg’s® Wild Berry Froot Loops® Cereal, that I grabbed from Walmart. Its a brand new flavor, that not only introduces a new flavor to one of our favorite cereals, but a new star shape as well! The cereal has such a delicious burst of flavor, and you’ll smell the sweetness as soon as you open the box! They are perfect for eating as a bowl of cereal, by the handful, or in these delicious fruit loop treats!
I love their new tangy berry flavor, and the bold colors are sure to brighten anyone’s day! You can find the new Kellogg’s® Wild Berry Froot Loops® Cereal in the cereal aisle, near the other regular Froot Loops Cereal at your local Walmart.
Colby was happy to help me make these yummy treats, and couldn’t keep his hands off of them as soon as they were ready to eat. They’re perfect for making with kids because they’ll love the bright colors, and they only take a few minutes to whip up. But don’t worry, my husband and I loved eating them as well.
Here’s how to make the Froot Loop Marshmallow Treats. You’ll melt some butter in a large stock pot over low heat. You want to keep the temperature low to keep the treats from turning crunchy and hard right away. Then add in the marshmallows and continue to cook them on low until they’re almost totally melted. Make sure to keep stirring as they cook. Mix in the Wild Berry Froot Loops® Cereal and stir it all up to coat the cereal completely with the melted marshmallows. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish. Don’t press them down too hard, because that’s another way to end up with overly crunchy and hard treats.
Now the hard part comes, you have to allow the treats to set for a bit until they’re ready to slice up and enjoy. Now you’ve got gooey, sticky, sweet, berry, delicious Wild Berry Froot Loops® Treats! Perfect for adults and kids alike!
