I’m sorry that I’ve been missing lately. If you like our facebook page you know that I have been preparing this week for a boutique that I’m selling some “pops” at. I decided to sell:
- cookie dough dipped in milk chocolate
- brownie truffles dipped in milk and dark chocolate
- oreos dipped in white, milk and dark chocolate
- red velvet cake pops dipped in white chocolate
- pumpkin cake pops dipped in milk chocolate
Its funny because I did a survey of my facebook friends to know what they would buy and everyone said cookie dough pops. I think they are amazing so of course I made them, but so far they aren’t that popular selling.
This has been quite a new experience for me. Its a fun experience. I really like making new things, and its been fun to have a good reason to try new little desserts. I’ve got a general cake pop recipe that I followed but I will let you know exactly what I put in each thing to make them so delicious in a post soon. But also I really like when other people enjoy my treats. And its even more exciting when they pay for them.
If you follow our family blog you know that Nate and I are eating vegetarian for the next couple weeks. Not because we think its bad to eat animals but because we want to see if we really do feel better eating less meat (especially red meat) and also because meat is much more expensive than fruits and vegetables. So I’ll keep you posted on that, and I’ll post a few yummy vegetarian recipes soon.
