Taking time for my me moments is so important for my health and sanity as a busy stay at home, work from home mom. This is how I do it.

I always knew being a mom would be hard work, but it’s something I’ve wanted to become since I was a little girl. But let’s be real for a minute, finding a few minutes a day to take a break from it all – from being a mom to two boys (one rambunctious toddler, and one baby) and from managing a successful blog from home – is not always an easy task.
One minute the baby wants to eat, then he needs a diaper change, immediately followed by finding the toddler outside with the dogs and the house on full blast (pretty much trying to flood the yard) and then you’ve got to get grocery shopping done, and even more diapers to change, and you’ve got a deadline to meet, and your realize you haven’t even showered yet, or had a chance to eat more than stealing a few fruit snacks from your toddler. It’s rough my friends, and don’t get me wrong I’m trying to savor it all because they’re just growing up too darn quick. But I also need a break sometimes.
Even if it’s just for 10 minutes.
Just ten minutes to take a quick breath, unwind and eat something. (Because we all know I get hangry quickly without any food).
The best solution? Oui by Yoplait from Walmart. This is my special yogurt. Yogurt that I don’t have to share with my husband or my son. It’s thick, and creamy, and delicious. Its subtly sweet, and fresh.
So in that short moment, I can enjoy some delicious yogurt and day dream for a minute about eating it at a cafe in Paris, instead of in my backyard wearing sweatpants while my toddler runs around and my baby takes a short nap.
Oui is made with whole milk, with real fruit, and no artificial flavors. There are eight flavors available, plain, vanilla, blueberry, strawberry, black cherry, peach, coconut and lemon. My favorite is blueberry.
A couple other things that help me get through day to day #momlife? Good friends. An awesome husband who takes the boys on his own for a couple hours so I can have a longer break. Taking a bath or shower when both boys are asleep, or binge watching a new show. Putting my phone away and just enjoying the moment.
How do you make time for your me moment?
