**We were provided with a free meal in exchange for this review! But of course all opinions are mine.
Like I said once before, Nicolitalia Pizzeria has some of the best pizza and food I’ve ever had.
This weekend we had the opportunity to return to Nicolitalia Pizzeria and meet the new owners of the store. About a year ago Ellen and Marv Slovacek bought Nicolitalia Pizzeria because Nick (the previous owner) wanted to go into engineering. They have kept the same fun atmosphere and delicious recipes that the restaurant had before.
Ellen and Marv are some of the nicest people, and it was so nice to sit down and talk to them about their experiences with the restaurant, their food and more. When you go into Nicolitalia Pizzeria you can really care that they care about not only the restaurant, and the food, but also their customers.
Since Nate and I were provided with a free meal we decided to switch it up and try a few new things, different than our norm. I will forever be in love with their mozzarella sticks, but I wanted to try their bread sticks, which I had heard were amazing. And a friend highly recommended their house dressing, so I ordered a side salad. And we decided to get their Stradi di Roma pizza which has an alfredo sauce instead of the typical (and delicious) marinara sauce.
So first off, their salad and house dressing. The side salad is a typical small salad served with red onions, cucumbers, tomatoes and croutons. And like I said, I chose to get the salad with their house dressing. I don’t even know how to describe this amazing dressing except for just that it is amazing. It’s a little bit creamy, a little bit tomatoey, and a little bit italiany. Ellen said its a secret recipe that originated in Italy. I love salad, and I loved this dressing, so I would definitely get it again as a little greens with my pizza.
We also got our bread sticks with a dipping sauce of the house dressing, as recommended by Ellen. The bread sticks were delicious too. They were covered in a slight garlic butter with parmesan cheese and the dough was so light, moist, and really delicious. Nate loved the house dressing, maybe more than I did, and was a huge fan of dipping the bread sticks into the dressing.
Then our pizza was the Stradi di Roma pizza, we got it on their normal thin crust. The pizza has a delicious creamy alfredo sauce, topped with mozzarella cheese, spinach, artichoke hearts, and a lot of really delicious grilled chicken pieces. It was a delicious pizza. I do love their normal marinara sauce, but for times when I want to change it up a little, I will definitely get this pizza again with the alfredo sauce. The pizza crust was the perfect thin crust pizza with just the right amount of crispiness, but also the edges were soft and delicious (and tasted great dipped in the house dressing too).
Have I convinced you that you need to try this place out yet? I mean seriously – everything I have eaten from Nicolitalia Pizzeria wasn’t just good, but was amazing and has all been something I would order again.
Well, one of you lucky readers has the chance to go to Nicolitalia Pizzeria for free! (Of course its’ so good you’ll want to go back again and again). But for now, one winner can win a large pizza of your choice and a side of bread sticks. How does that sound? Of course you’ll have to drive to Provo to redeem your food, but if you’re anywhere in the vicinity I promise it’s worth it.

Natalie, I am sad Nick is gone too, but the new owners are really nice as well! I haven’t tried their wings yet, so I think that will go on my list of what to try next time I go!

I love Nicolitatlia’s pizza! When my husband was still in school and I had our first little boy I would go out for a couple of hours to give him time to study and I used to surprise him with pizza or wings from here. So good! I would love to try their pizza again! It’s been awhile since we moved away.
