I’ve slowly been sharing with you some of the amazing restaurants and food places we ate at while on our fun trip to Portland area at the beginning of last month. Now, I’m going to rewind a little back to my first day there. Nate was already in Portland since Sunday morning for a work conference, so Colby and I flew out Wednesday evening as his conference was ending so we could all stay for a few days and have a nice little family trip. I was impressed with Colby on our flight out, he was such a good boy and didn’t really cry at all, and the people sitting near us were quite nice and helpful with him too. We rented a car and then went and picked up a pack and play that my friend Jessie was generous enough to lend to us for our stay. Then Colby and I drove to the hotel to meet Nate. It was a rainy evening and we were all starving, so we walked a couple blocks from the hotel and found Pizza Schmizza.
Now neither of us are ever going to argue against having pizza for dinner, but this pizza wasn’t just okay it was SO good! They serve a lot of their different pizzas by the slice, so that you can try a variety of flavors or only have one slice if you’re not too hungry, or you can order any of their varieties of pizza in a whole pizza. Since Nate’s brother was in town still (they work together so he was there for the conference too) we ordered 2 pizzas to share.
We got the chicken bacon ranch pizza, which is chicken, bacon, canadian bacon and tomatoes all on top of a ranch sauce, with cheese of course.
And we got the Sch’meat’za which is a meat lovers dream come true with a traditional pizza topped with salami, pepperoni, canadian bacon, italian sausage, bacon, and sausage links.
These two pizzas were the perfect combination with the lighter ranch pizza and the heavier meaty pizza. Both were so delicious though! The crust was light and thin and really good!
I’m seriously wishing I could fly back right now to have another slice (or two, or three!)
