I’m gonna be honest, I gained more weight than I should have while I was pregnant. They suggest that an average weight person before pregnancy should gain about 25 to 35 pounds. I gained more like 45 to 50 pounds. I lost 30 pounds within 2 weeks after Colby was born. But those last 15 pounds have just been hanging on me… Another 7 weeks later.
I’ve been using the excuse that I’m breastfeeding, I shouldn’t diet or really even worry about it, that it would come off on its own in due time.
But that doesn’t mean I can’t eat healthy. Actually breast feeding gives me even more of a reason to eat healthy, I’m feeding my little one too. And that doesn’t mean I can’t count my calories either. My daily calorie goal, might still be more than I’m used to… But setting that goal keeps me on the right track. Plus because I’m breastfeeding I get hungry more often and I need more little meals throughout the day. So another thing that is helping to keep me on track, these Slimfast Greek Yogurt and Honey Bars.
These bars are only 110 calories each, and they taste great! Their good enough to fill my sweet craving and they’re a great snack replacement for me too.
The SlimFast Greek Yogurt and Honey Bars are a great part of the Slimfast 14-Day Slim Down, where you can lose up to 6 pounds in 2 weeks, by following these guidelines:
- Swap 2 meals daily with a Slimfast Protein Shake or Meal Bar
- Your third meal must be 500 calories
- Enjoy 3 100 calorie snacks or pieces of fruit per day
- Do 30 minutes of light to medium exercise daily
- Drink plenty of water
- Don’t exceed 1200 calories a day*

Now that doesn’t sound too hard does it?
Slimfast has a variety of delicious shake flavors including, Pina Colada, Creamy Milk Chocolate, Strawberries ‘N’ Cream, French Vanilla and more. And they have a ton of great meal bar flavors; Chocolate Cookie Dough, Chocolate Peanut Caramel, Have Your Cake, etc. And of course you can enjoy their delicious snack bars too – you can try the delicious Greek Yogurt and Honey that I tried, but they also have Chocolate Mint, Double Dutch Chocolate, and Peanut Butter Crunch Time. I can’t wait to try some of these other delicious flavors for a delicious snack for me to enjoy throughout the day.
The most important thing is that I’m eating healthy, and I want you guys to be healthy too!
What are some of your best tips for staying healthy?
Because I’m breastfeeding I need to eat about 500 calories extra each day. *
