Last week I headed to Walmart to buy some General Mills® cereal products. You see, although I don’t have kids in school yet I still know how important education is, and General Mills Box Tops for Education program is such a good program and a great way to help out local schools!
I always wanted to be an elementary school teacher when I was growing up. I had some really great teachers that I loved, and I loved the idea of helping to mold and teach little minds. One teacher in particular, my second grade teacher was so much fun and so kind, I always hoped I could be a teacher just like her.
Now, I actually didn’t end up studying to be an elementary school teacher, but I did teach ESL classes for three years and loved being able to teach and help those students in that way.
Now that I am a mom, I’m realizing how impressionable our little ones are, and in 4 years when Colby is heading to his first day of school I want to know that he will have a great education experience. That he will love to learn, and love his teachers, and class mates and I know that Box Tops for Education is a great way for me to help his school to provide him with the best experience possible!
General Mills even has bonus box top boxes like these boxes — 5 extra boxes. At .10 cents per box top!
Stay tuned soon for an amazing recipe using General Mills Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal too!
