Fruit Salad with a twist, serve it in a waffle bowl for fun.
Hello Like Mother, Like Daughter readers, I’m so excited to guest post today! Aimee is adorable, and I absolutely love all of the yummy recipes she shares on here. My name is Karina, and I blog over at the bucket list girl. A Lifestyle blog about completing items on my bucket list while inspiring others to do so. I have always enjoyed being in the kitchen, and cooking meals for my family; Especially desserts ;)!
The other day, as I sat down to look at my recipe bucket list I thought to myself: What if I created meals that are on my food bucket list, and then shared it with others? That’s when I decided to let my inner foodie come out. I’m soon launching a new blog named: Bucket List Cooking. So Be on the look out for that!
Today I’m sharing with you guys a super easy recipe that honestly shouldn’t even be called that. It is that easy! I grew up eating lots of fruits, and fruit salads were my favorites. This one has little twist that I hope you guys like. Enjoy!
Quick tip: You will find the condensed milk and table cream at your local grocery store. Usually at the ethnic foods isle.
Waffle Bowl Fruit Salad

- 1 cup strawberries
- 1 cup mandarin oranges
- 1 can condensed milk
- 1 can table cream*
- 1 waffle bowl
Instructions
- Chop the fruits (except grapes) into small pieces.
- In a bowl, mix the can of condensed milk and table cream.
- Slowly fold in the chopped fruit to the cream mixture.
- Add the fruit salad mix to the waffle bowl and serve immediately.
Notes
TIP: To make this recipe a little light, add a cup of orange juice instead of condensed milk.
