Asian Beef with Snow Peas and Mushrooms

This Asian Beef with Snow Peas and Mushrooms is a great quick and delicious meal. It's packed with protein, and a sweet and tangy seasoned beef, and is great for a weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

For the Sauce:

  • 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 3 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger

For the Beef and Vegetables:

  • 2 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1/4 cup onions (diced)
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 8 oz snow peas
  • 4 oz mushrooms (washed and sliced thinly)

For Serving:

  • 6 cups cooked rice

Instructions

For the Sauce:

  • Add the sauce ingredients to a small bowl, teriyaki sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, rice vinegar, and ginger. Set it aside.

For the Beef and Vegetables:

  • Add the minced garlic and diced onion to a large sauce pan and heat over medium high heat for a couple minutes.
  • Add in the ground beef, and cook until the meat is cooked through. Breaking into chunks as you cook it.
  • Add in the mushrooms and snow peas and saute for a couple of minutes until tender.
  • Pour the sauce all over the beef mixture and cook until warm throughout, and it coats the mixture evenly.

For Serving:

  • Serve the meat and vegetables over the prepared rice.
