Nutella Swirled Banana Bread

Nutella is swirled right into this moist and luscious Nutella Swirled Banana Bread for an amazing flavor merger of banana and chocolate hazelnut.

Ingredients

Nutella Swirled Banana Bread

  • 1/2 cup butter (softened)
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup bananas (over ripe and mashed)
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup Nutella

Instructions

Nutella Swirled Banana Bread

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Grease a 9x5 loaf pan or 4 mini loaf pans
  • Combine butter, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl until light and creamy
  • Beat in eggs, one at a time, blending completely
  • Mix in bananas and vanilla
  • Add in flour 1/2 cup at a time stirring slowly. Continue until all flour is added. Scrape down sides in between additions as needed.
  • Spread one cup of batter into a medium size bowl. Add nutella to the batter and mix until completely combined.*
  • Spoon yellow banana batter into prepared bread pan(s)
  • Add dollups of Nutella batter to the top of the banana batter - 3 to 4 TBS per mini loaf and all on top of the full loaf pan
  • With a knife, swirl Nutella batter into the banana batter
  • Bake for 60 minutes for full loaf or 35 minutes for mini loaves, until an inserted toothpick comes out clean
  • Cool in pan for 5 minutes, then remove to cooling rack

Notes

*Soften Nutella in microwave for 15 to 30 seconds if needed
