Two thousand and twelve has been another absolutely splendid year. It’s so fun for me to look back on my posts from the past year, and remember all the delicious food that we ate, or I wish we’d eaten (stuff mom made).
Here are the top 10 reader favorite recipes from 2012 (based on most views throughout the year) They are ranked with number 1 with the most views, down to 10 with the least.
#1 Creamy Chicken and Broccoli over Rice – Aren’t crockpot recipes just the best? Somehow this recipe went viral on pinterest, but it is so delicious I am happy to share it with all of you! You will love the creamy cheese sauce with the shredded chicken and crunchy broccoli to go over rice – for a perfect heart warming meal.
#2 Copycat of Rumbi’s Hawaiian Chicken Teriyaki Bowl – If you like Rumbi’s Teriyaki Chicken bowl, you will love this dish. The sweet teriyaki sauce is just perfect, and with the combination of coconut rice, crisp chopped vegetables and chicken. This meal will soon become one of your family’s favorites.
#3 Idaho Sunrise: Baked Egg in a Baked Potato – If you want an insanely cheap, and simple, but still healthy and filling meal, this is the one for you.
#4 Creamy Chicken Enchiladas – These enchiladas are one of my absolute favorites, and they are bound to become one of yours too. They definitely aren’t your traditional mexican restaurant enchiladas, but the creamy sauce made of cream of chicken soup, sour cream and more is to die for.
#5 Baked Ravioli – I haven’t made this dish in a while, but every time I think of it, it sounds delicious. What can be better than pasta with a delicious marinara sauce topped with lots of cheese?
#6 Cookie Dough Truffles – I don’t think I am alone in saying that I love cookie dough, but I am always a little afraid to eat it because of the raw egg. These cookie dough truffles are the perfect alternative. Instead of egg you use sweetened condensed milk and then you dip the cookie dough into melted milk chocolate. These will be the perfect treat for your sweet tooth.
#7 Peanut Butter Nutella Stuffed Cookies – If you are a fan of peanut butter and nutella then you will love these cookies. A delicious peanut buttery cookie with nutella combined with powdered sugar in the middle. Perfection.
#8 15 Ways to Jazz Up Boxed Brownies – I love brownies from a box, but sometimes I want just a little bit more. Try any one of these 15 ways to add just a little bit more deliciousness to those brownies you love, without adding to the difficulty.
#9 Chicken Parmigiana Pizza – This pizza combines two of my favorite things, pizza for one and chicken parmigiana. You can make this recipe easy or make it your own, with homemade dough or dough from a store, breading your own chicken and making your own sauce or getting some pre made. Either way, you will love this pizza.
#10 Crockpot Beef Stew – For another absolutely delicious crockpot meal, you will want to try this stew. The chunky vegetables and beef are delicious and so warming on a cold winter or autumn day. And this is one of the easiest recipes you will ever make with only 3 steps, I know you will enjoy this stew as much as I do.
