Frozen Strawberry Lemonade is the perfect sweet and tangy cold treat to help you stay cool this summer!
This sweet treat is only 3 ingredients, and comes together in just 1 or 2 minutes in the blender. You’ll need fresh squeezed lemon juice, frozen strawberries, and sugar. That’s it! If you’re blender isn’t high powered, you may need to add a little water to help it out, or you can thin the drink out a bit as well if you like it less slushy and more drinkable. You decide.
As the weather gets warmer I want more cool drinks and treats just like this frozen strawberry lemonade. Its thick enough to eat with a spoon if you want, or drink with a straw. And you’ll be happy to have one of these in your hand for any back yard bbq, or day spent in the sun!
The last week or so have been pretty hard for our family. We’re having a new house built, and have all the stresses that come with that, plus selling the house we are in, and we have to start packing soon, and then to add to it all, my husband slipped on a tennis ball at the top of our stairs last week, and has been pretty out of commission since then because of severe back pain. I’m used to having an A+ husband and father to help out with the kids, and the dishes, and I’ll be honest he does more of the house cleaning than I do, so I’m picking some of that up, and just accepting that our house may be a little messier for a couple weeks. This frozen strawberry lemonade was the perfect way for me to cool off on a warm day we had this week, and to have a fun sweet drink to share with my boys, and the perfect refreshing drink for all of us.
Anyway, that’s my apology for why I haven’t posted much the last few weeks, but I’m hoping to get a few done this weekend that we should get back on track to our regular M, W, F schedule. Thanks for being patient with me 🙂
This frozen strawberry lemonade is made with fresh lemon juice instead of pre-made lemonade or lemonade concentrate, so you’ve got all natural ingredients going in there. AND, the lemon juice gives it the perfect tangy tartness, and gives it that real authentic lemon and lemonade flavor throughout.
This strawberry lemonade slush is a little tart, and a little sweet, but all around delicious. I added 1/4 cup of sugar to mine, but depending on the sweetness of your strawberries, and the tanginess of your lemons you may want a little more. I’d add a little more a tablespoon at a time, if you think its not sweet enough until you get it just right.
This is one I’m going to be sipping on all summer long!

Would this work with stevia / sweetener other than sugar?
Aimee says
I haven’t tried it, but assume it should work.
Dani says
Can you use fresh strawberries and ice ?
Aimee says
You probably can, but it won’t be as concentrated as the ice will dilute the flavor some

This is my favorite recipe ever. I have gi issues and love this because it’s so gentle on my stomach and delicious. It also has no artificial colors which is awesome. It took me a long time to find the right recipe but I’ve been using this one for about a year now and it’s amazing. I use it all the time as my go to drink/smoothie. It’s also amazing to mix medicine into if needed. I used to mix my medicine into it all the time. Absolutely reccomend this. And if you don’t like sour things you can totally alter the amount of lemon juice! My family uses the same recipe but I use less lemon juice when making it for them. Totally reccomend this recipe. It’s awesome.

Unbelievably good! I like really tart/sour lemonade so I only added 1/8 cup of sugar and I also added the zest of half of a lemon. It was wonderfully refreshing and tart. Kind of like eating sour patch kids candy, except with real fruit. I’m hooked!
