Caramel Apple Blondies

Caramel apple blondies are a delicious brown sugar blondie stuffed full of apple pieces and lots of gooey caramel for a perfect fall dessert!

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

1/2 cup butter (1 Stick), softened 1 cup brown sugar 1 egg 1/2 tsp vanilla extract 1/2 tsp salt 1 tsp cinnamon 1 cup flour 1 1/2 apples (peeled, and diced) 8 oz soft caramels (about 1 1/2 cups) 1 TBS whole milk

You can take this perfect dessert recipe up a notch by adding some extra goodies on top like sprinkling coconut sugar, adding butterscotch chips, sprinkling some cinnamon on top, a little bit of pure maple syrup, or even drizzling extra caramel on top. When having them the next day, try throwing a blondie or two in the microwave for 20-30 seconds to warm them up again before throwing some ice cream on top. This apple blondies recipe stays good when properly stored- good news if you are able to not eat all of them on the first day.
