Greek Chicken Tacos

These Greek Tacos are a delicious easy dinner, the same flavors of a Greek gyro without the work. They're flavorful Greek chicken tacos, loaded with delicious toppings like tomatoes, feta, cucumbers, and more.

Ingredients

For Taco Filling:

  • 1 lb ground chicken (can substitute ground turkey, or ground lamb)
  • 1/2 TBS minced garlic
  • 1/2 TBS ground oregano
  • 1 tsp ground paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt (to taste)

For Serving Greek Tacos:

  • 8 flour tortillas (or pitas)
  • 3/4 cup tzatziki sauce
  • 2 cups shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup peeled and diced cucumbers
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1 lemon (squeeze juice on tacos)

Instructions

  • Add chicken to a large skillet, and cook over medium high, breaking it into chunks, and cooking until the chicken is nearly cooked through.
  • Add in the garlic and cook until the chicken is browned and cooked through.
  • Add in the oregano, paprika, and salt, and continue to cook for another minute or two.
  • Spread chicken into the middle of a tortilla, with your choice of toppings.
