Homemade Tzatziki Sauce

This homemade tzatziki sauce is a delicious fresh, and creamy sauce made with Greek yogurt, cucumbers, and a mix of herbs and spices. This tangy sauce is perfect for dipping vegetables, spreading on sandwiches, pitas, and more.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup grated cucumber
  • 1 cup full fat Greek yogurt
  • 1 TBS fresh lemon juice
  • 1 TBS olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove (minced)
  • 1/2 TBS dried dill
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

  • Grate the cucumber with a box grater. (If your cucumber is seeded cut the cucumber in half length wise and scoop out the seeds, then grate). Squeeze the water out of the cucumber between your hands into the sink, or between some paper towels.
  • Add the cucumber to a medium bowl. Then add in the yogurt, lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, dill, and salt. Stir the mixture together until combined.
  • Use right away, or store in the fridge for up to 4 days.
