Cheeseburger Casserole

This cheeseburger casserole is only a few ingredients and is so easy to make, and so delicious too! Its like a burger and french fries in casserole form.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef (or ground turkey)
  • 1/2 cup finely diced onion
  • 1/2 TBS minced garlic
  • 10.5 oz can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 tsp salt (to taste)
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper (to taste)
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (divided)
  • 3 cups Frozen Tater Tots

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease a 9x13 pan with nonstick spray.
  • Add the ground beef, onion, and garlic in a large skillet over medium high heat. Cook until the ground beef is browned through. Drain out the extra grease. 1 pound ground beef, 1/2 cup finely diced onion, 1/2 TBS minced garlic
  • Add in the cream of mushroom soup, half the shredded cheese, and the salt and pepper, and stir everything together. 10.5 oz can cream of mushroom soup, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/8 tsp black pepper, 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • Pour the mixture into a 9x13 pan.
  • Spread tater tots evenly over the top of the beef mixture. 3 cups Frozen Tater Tots
  • Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the top of the tater tots. 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • Bake for 30 to 40 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown, the casserole is hot and the cheese is melted.
  • Remove from the oven and let it sit for 5 minutes, then serve.
