Cinnamon Sugar Biscuit Donuts

The simplest cinnamon sugar donuts to make ever, using canned biscuits and sweet cinnamon sugar.

Ingredients

  • 1 8 ct Grand Buttermilk Biscuits
  • oil
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  • Heat 2 inches of oil over your stove in a large bottomed pot over medium heat. (Or in a deep fryer heated to 350)
  • Combine your cinnamon and sugar in a small bowl and set aside.
  • Separate each of your biscuits from your can and cut about 1 circular inch out of the middle of each. (You can fry those up as donut holes!)
  • When the oil is heated, put each biscuit in into your pot and cook until the bottom side turns golden, then flip over and cook the other side till golden. (About 1.5-2 minutes total)
  • Set on paper towels to remove a little oil.
  • Then dip all sides of each donut in your cinnamon sugar mixture.
  • Repeat with additional donuts (and donut holes) and eat while warm!
