Baked Carrots
These baked carrots are perhaps the simplest side dish you will ever make with only 3 ingredients - carrots, butter, and seasoning.
- 5 whole carrots
- 2 Tbs butter or margarine
- salt and pepper to taste
- Wash and peel the carrots 
- Cut the ends off 
- Cut the carrots so the pieces are 2 to 3 inches long 
- Cut to quarters or eighths your carrot pieces (depending on how fat the carrot was) 
- Take a good size sheet of foil 
- Pile the carrots on the foil 
- Cut the butter into 4 pieces and place on the carrots 
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper 
- Roll the foil up to close it. 
- Bake at 400 degrees for 45 to 60 minutes (depending on how thin your carrot slices are)
