Candied Almonds

These cinnamon sugar candied almonds are a delicious, crunchy, sweet treat. They're only 6 ingredients and so easy to make!

  • 1 egg white
  • 1 TBS water
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 cups almonds


  • Preheat the oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking pan with parchment paper.
  • Beat the egg white in a medium sized bowl till frothy.
  • Stir in the vanilla extract.
  • Add in the almonds, and stir to coat them in the egg white mixture.
  • In another bowl, stir together the granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
  • Add the sugar mixture to the nuts and stir to coat them.
  • Pour the almonds onto the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake for about 30-40 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes. Check often the last 10 minutes.
  • Allow the nuts to cool completely before eating or using in recipes.
