Homemade Maple Flavored Syrup

Simple maple flavored syrup but perfect on waffles, pancakes, and all your favorite breakfast carbs.


  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tsp maple flavoring
  • 1 tsp vanilla


  • In a small saucepan add your sugar and water
  • Heat over medium to low heat until sugar dissolves completely, stirring occasionally
  • Bring to a low boil and let cook for another 2 or 3 minutes
  • Stir in the maple flavoring and vanilla extract
  • Remove from heat.
  • Serve hot.
