Homemade Maple Flavored Syrup

- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1 TBS pure maple extract
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
Add the sugar and water to a small sauce pan. Heat over medium heat until the sugar dissolves, stirring occasionally.
Bring to a low boil and let cook for another 3 to 4 minutes, until the mixture starts to thicken.
Remove from the heat and stir in the maple extract and vanilla extract.
Serve hot over your favorite breakfast foods.
