Firecracker Cookies

Your favorite sugar cookie turns into an explosion in your mouth.

  • 16 oz sugar cookie dough (or pre-baked sugar cookies)
  • 1 cup white frosting (buttercream, cream cheese, vanilla, etc.)
  • 2 0.33oz packages Strawberry or Watermelon Pop Rocks
  • 2 0.33oz packages Tropical Punch Pop or Cotton Candy Pop Rocks **


  • Make your sugar cookies in circular shapes according to their directions.
  • When your cookies are cooled, spread frosting evenly over the top of each cookie.
  • Sprinkle the pop rocks over the top of the frosting when ready to serve.

***If you can't find blue pop rocks, you can make homemade blue sugar by combining sugar and blue gel/blue food coloring in a bowl.
