Pasta Primavera
A delicious pasta with fresh spring vegetables for your dinner table tonight.

Ingredients

bunch
bunch of asparagus
(washed and trimmed to 1 inch lengths)

yellow squash
(washed, sliced thin, and in half)

red tomato
(diced)

pasta
(your favorite)
2 to 4
cloves
garlic
(minced)

olive oil
1 to 2
Tbs
Italian seasonings*

tsp
garlic salt
salt and pepper
(to taste)

large shrimp
(tails removed)
Parmesan cheese
(freshly grated)
Instructions
In a large sauce pan bring water to boil for your pasta
Once boiling, add 1 tsp salt and pasta
Cook your pasta according to the directions on the package
Meanwhile, in a saute pan add your olive oil
Sprinkle your shrimp with Italian seasonings
Add the shrimp to your saute pan and cook throughout (about 3 minutes) turning once
Add your asparagus and yellow squash, saute for a few minutes
Add your minced garlic and a little more Italian seasoning
Once the pasta is cooked, drain, and add to the vegetables
Add your tomatoes last and let warm slightly
Serve sprinkled with fresh basil and freshly grated Parmesan cheese if desired

*basil, oregano, parsley, rosemary - any combination
