Chicken Caesar Salad Pitas

Chicken Caesar Salad Pitas are a delicious and easy caesar salad served up in a pita  with grilled chicken, romaine lettuce, parmesan cheese, and caesar dressing. These pitas are the perfect easy lunch or dinner!

Equipment

  • Large Mixing Bowl

Ingredients

  • 2 large chicken breasts
  • 1 head romaine lettuce
  • 1/2 cup croutons
  • 1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup caesar dressing
  • 4 pitas

Instructions

  • Season chicken all over with salt and pepper. 
  • Cook chicken thoroughly on a grill over medium high, or on the stove top. 
  • Allow chicken to rest for about 5 minutes, then cut into bite sized pieces. 
  • Cut lettuce into 1 inch sized pieces. 
  • In a large mixing bowl, add chicken, lettuce, croutons, and parmesan cheese.
  • Pour caesar dressing over the top and toss all the ingredients together to fully coat them with the dressing. 
  • Place about a cup of salad mix into the pita pocket, or center of the pita and fold. 
  • Enjoy immediately.
