Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Spread out the pie crust and place it into a 9'' pie plate. Press the crust against the edges of the pie plate, so it sticks well and doesn't fall when baking. Crimp the edges as desired.
Cream together the butter, brown sugar, and sugar for about 2 minutes till light and creamy.
Add in the egg, and vanilla extract and stir till combined.
Add in the salt, baking soda, and flour and mix till smooth.
Chop up your candy bars into bite sized pieces.
Add 1 cup of the candy bar pieces to the cookie dough, and fold them evenly into the dough.
Press the dough into the prepared pie pan. The dough is a bit sticky, so spray your hands with non stick spray, or wash them with cold water occasionally to keep the dough off your hands.
Press remaining candy pieces onto the top of the pie for decoration.
Bake the prepared pie for about 22-30 minutes until the crust is browned and the top of the pie is golden colored. The middle may not look completely done.
Allow the pie to cool completely before slicing and serving.
Serve on it's own, or with a scoop of ice cream on top.
