  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tsp water
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 cups pecan halves
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 TBS cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 300 F. Line a baking pan with parchment paper.

  • Add in the pecans and stir them to coat them in the egg white mixture.
  • Stir the brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, and salt in a small bowl.
  • Add the cinnamon sugar mixture to the nuts and stir them together to coat.
  • Pour the pecans onto the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake for 30 to 40 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes. Check the nuts often the last 10 minutes or so to keep them from burning.
  • Remove from the oven and let the nuts cool on the pan, then enjoy.
