These cinnamon candied pecans are simple to make; full of cinnamon flavor and crunch.
I love candied nuts. Just a few days ago, I discovered an amazing clementine chipotle cashew at my local grocery store with just the right amount of sweetness and heat. These cinnamon candied pecans are another favorite nut, so cinnamony, crunchy, and sweet; I can’t stop snacking on them. Luckily they are super simple to make.
Sometimes making your own candied nuts can seem quite complicated but not with these cinnamon candied pecans. Since you bake them in your oven, a lot of the concern of stirring or even burning is nil. You only have to turn them once halfway through their bake time and then start checking on them at 15 minutes for that great nutty and cinnamon smell. Once your pecans are finished baking, remove them from the oven to cool.
Have you discovered the egg white tip? Adding beaten egg white to aid in coating nuts or even granola is just what your baked snacks need. The egg white allows for crunch plus coating. And you are baking your nuts so no need to worry about eating raw eggs.
I really love all the cinnamon and brown sugar flavor on these cinnamon candied pecans. I mixed in 1 tablespoon of cinnamon which seemed just right for me but you can add a little more or a little less. Once everything is all mixed together, bake. Before you know it you will have an amazing delicious nut for snacking on. Or how about topping some salads with a few nuts and goat cheese; such a great combination. I even think you could make lots of batches and give them to your friends and neighbors as housewarming gifts or Christmas gifts. So easy and so appreciated.
