  • 4-8 lb spiral sliced ham
  • 1/2 cup apple juice
  • 3/4 cup honey
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar

For Thickening the Sauce:

  • 1 TBS cornstarch
  • 2 TBS water
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

  • Add your ham to the slow cooker and pour the apple juice over the top.
  • Pour the honey over the top of the ham. And pour the brown sugar on top too. Press the brown sugar all around the sides of the ham.
  • Cover the slow cooker with the lid and cook on low for 3 to 4 hours, or until the ham reaches an internal temperature of 145 degrees Fahrenheit. (Reglaze the ham with the sauce once or twice).

For Thickening the Sauce:

  • Transfer the liquid from the bottom of the slow cooker into a medium sized sauce pan. Heat over medium high heat to bring the liquid to a simmer.
  • Whisk together cornstarch and water in a small bowl and add it to the simmering sauce.
  • Stir in the brown sugar.
  • Let the sauce continue to simmer for 6 to 8 minutes until it is thickened.
  • Preheat the oven to high broil.
  • Add the ham to a baking dish and glaze the ham all over with the sauce using a silicone brush.
  • Add the ham to the oven and let it broil for 3 to 5 minutes until the sauce is sticky on the ham. (Remove it once or twice while broiling to spread more glaze on).
  • Serve the ham immediately.
