Classic Lemonade
This homemade lemonade is the perfect refreshing drink. It's only 3 ingredients and so easy to make, it's the perfect drink when you need something cool and sweet.

- 4 cups water (divided)
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 1/4 cups fresh squeezed lemon juice (about 8 lemons)
Add 2 cups of the water to a small sauce pan, and add in the sugar. Heat over medium heat.
Cook until the sugar is completely dissolved, whisking as it heats up. Remove the pan from the heat and let it cool slightly.
Add the remaining water to a large pitcher.
Juice the lemons, and add the fresh lemon juice to the pitcher with the water.
Add in the sugar water. And stir it all to combine.
Place the lemonade in the fridge for about 2 hours, or until chilled.
Serve chilled over ice.
