Strawberry fluff is a light and fluffy jello salad made with only five ingredients; it’s the perfect spring or summer side dish or dessert!
Have you tried fluff before? It has to be the easiest dessert/side “salad” you can make. There are a few different recipes out there, some with pudding, some with crushed pineapple, but what I can find most of them have in common is a box of strawberry jello, cool whip, fresh strawberries, and maybe mini marshmallows. This recipe has all that plus cottage cheese.
Jello Fluff is super versatile, because you can pick your favorite jello flavor and any fruit to match. If you love strawberries, use strawberry jello with fresh strawberries like I use here. If you love orange, use orange jello with mandarin oranges. If you love raspberries, use raspberry jello, and so on and so forth. Pistachio was my father’s favorite, my daughter in law’s is strawberry, and my brother’s was orange.
This recipe is so easy, that my grand daughter has even helped me make it, and I’m sure your kids would love helping you make it too. And guess what their favorite part will be? Licking off the spoon 😉
How to make Strawberry Fluff?
Strawberry Fluff is super easy to make! It’s only 5 ingredients, cottage cheese, dry jello, cool whip, strawberries and mini marshmallows.
You’ll mix together the cottage cheese and jello powder till smooth. The jello might still be a little gritty, but it will dissolve as you let the whole thing sit in the fridge. Carefully fold in the cool whip, strawberries and marshmallows. That’s it.
Cover the bowl with a lid and place it in the fridge for 1 or 2 hours so the mixture can set up nicely and the jello can dissolve a little better.
Now serve it up with your favorite dinner or at a potluck!
