Can I use dark Karo? I don’t have light and unable to go get some right now.
Aimee says
Dark Karo syrup has molasses in it so the flavor will be quite different, but if you like that flavor it should be fine
Robin says
Does anyone know how long this last after it’s made. I want to start my Christmas baking but don;t want to start this to early.
Aimee says
I never have it last long, so I can’t say for sure, we eat it too fast! But I think it should be good in an airtight container for a few days at least.
Judith Wilson says
You don’t say how much milk, chocolate or white chocolate for the recipe
Aimee says
The recipe card lists 1/2 cup for each of them

This recipe looks amazing… so amazing I’m giving it out for Christmas! Can you tell me how big your serving size is in? I’m trying to figure out how much I need to make. Thanks!!
Aimee says
It’s a little over half a cup. One batch should make about 10 cups.
Amy Mitchell says
Can this recipe be made in advance and frozen?
Aimee says
I’m not sure how it would all thaw, so I haven’t tried it sorry! Let me know if you do!
Karen carr says
Can’t say they didn’t warn me!! This is so addictive- before you know it you are making a second batch! Make this immediately!
Kerilynn says
What are Carmel bits?
Aimee says
They are little round unwrapped caramel balls made by Kraft you can find in the baking aisle. You can also use other store bought soft caramels.
