Easy Peanut Butter Cake With Cake Mix

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

yellow boxed cake mix milk vegetable oil sour cream creamy peanut butter eggs

This cake starts with a dry boxed cake mix, then add in oil, milk, and eggs, and of course peanut butter. Mix them all together in a large bowl. Then pour the batter into a greased baking pan. Bake the cake until a toothpick comes out clean. Let the cake cool completely then spread your choice of frosting over the top. Then sprinkle chopped peanut butter cups on top if desired.

I used a yellow cake mix, but you can sub for a white cake mix if that’s what you prefer, or have on hand. You can top the cake with whatever frosting you prefer, canned chocolate frosting from the store to make it extra easy. Homemade chocolate, peanut butter frosting, cream cheese frosting, you name it.
