Cream together the sugar and butter until it’s nice and fluffy. Then add in the half and half, vanilla and eggs and stir until just combined.

Then add in all the dry ingredients, and the food coloring. Mix until you have a nice and thick cookie dough. Cover the dough and chill it in the fridge for 1 hour.

Roll out the cookie dough on a lightly floured surface. Then cut the dough out into Christmas trees using a Christmas tree cookie cutter.

Bend the top of the cookie tree down to make it like a curl. Place the cookies onto a lined cookie sheet. Bake the cookies for 9 minutes. Let the cookies cool completely.

Make the glaze by whisking together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla. then use a spoon to add some snowy glaze onto the tips of the cookies.

Melt the candy melts in the microwave until you can stir them smooth, then add them to a small bag, and snip off the end.
