- 1 pound ground beef (or ground turkey)
- 1/2 cup finely diced onion
- 1/2 TBS minced garlic
- 10.5 oz can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 tsp salt (to taste)
- 1/8 tsp black pepper (to taste)
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (divided)
- 3 cups Frozen Tater Tots
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease a 9x13 pan with nonstick spray.
Add the ground beef, onion, and garlic in a large skillet over medium high heat. Cook until the ground beef is browned through. Drain out the extra grease. 1 pound ground beef, 1/2 cup finely diced onion, 1/2 TBS minced garlic
Add in the cream of mushroom soup, half the shredded cheese, and the salt and pepper, and stir everything together. 10.5 oz can cream of mushroom soup, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/8 tsp black pepper, 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Pour the mixture into a 9x13 pan.
Spread tater tots evenly over the top of the beef mixture. 3 cups Frozen Tater Tots
Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the top of the tater tots. 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Bake for 30 to 40 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown, the casserole is hot and the cheese is melted.
Remove from the oven and let it sit for 5 minutes, then serve.
