Chocolate Chip Cookie in a Mug

- 1 TBS unsalted butter
- 1 TBS granulated sugar
- 1 TBS brown sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 1/8  tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1 pinch salt
- 2 TBS mini chocolate chips (regular size is fine too)
- Add the butter to a mug and microwave it for 20-30 seconds, or until melted.  
- Add in the granulated sugar, and brown sugar and stir it together until combined.  
- Add in the egg yolk and vanilla extract and stir until smooth.  
- Stir in the flour, and salt.  
- Stir in about 1 1/2 TBS of the chocolate chips.  
- Sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips over the top of the batter.  
- Microwave on high for 40 to 60 seconds, checking first after 40 seconds to see if the cookie looks done (it should spring back lightly when touched).  
- Enjoy warm topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
