- 12 Nutter Butter Cookies
- 24 candy eyes
Add the white chocolate chips to a small microwave safe bowl and microwave at half power for 1 minute. Stir as much as you can. 2 cups white chocolate chips
Microwave in additional 30 second increments, at half power until you can stir the chocolate smooth.
Drop one cookie at a time into the white chocolate. Use a fork to flip the Oreo over and make sure the Oreo is covered on all sides. Or you can hold the cookie and dip it most of the way into the white chocolate. 12 Nutter Butter Cookies
Lift the Oreo out of the white chocolate with the fork.
Tap thecookie onto the edge of the bowl to let the excess white chocolate drizzle back into the bowl.
Place the cookie onto a piece of parchment paper.
Place two candy eyes onto the top of the cookie close together to look like the mummies eyes. 24 candy eyes
Scoop any remaining white chocolate into a ziplock bag, (Remelt in the microwave bowl for 15 seconds, first as needed, if it has hardened).
Snip a small corner of the bag and drizzle the white chocolate over each of the Nutter Butters in a zig zag pattern to make them look like mummy wrapping, avoiding the eyes.
Let the cookies sit until the chocolate is set.
- Cooled Chocolate: If the white chocolate starts to thick while dipping, reheat in the microwave for 15 to 20 seconds.
- Shake of the Excess: Tap the cookies on the side of the bowl a few times after dipping them in the white chocolate this will make sure the chocolate isn't too thick. You can also scrape the bottom layer against the side of the bowl since it doesn't need to be as thick.
- Make as Many Cookies as You Like: You don't have to limit yourself to the amounts I have below, make the whole package if you want. You'll just need to melt even more white chocolate!
