Parmesan Asparagus
This Parmesan Asparagus is such a delicious way to eat asparagus. It's easy, and takes just a few minutes of prep, and is the perfect side dish for any meal.

- 1 pound asparagus* (washed, dried, and ends removed)
- 2 TBS olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt (to taste)
- 1/4 tsp black pepper (to taste)
- 1 tsp fresh squeezed lemon juice (optional)
- 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese (freshly grated preferred)
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease a baking sheet with nonstick spray, or brush with oil.
Add the asparagus to the pan and drizzle with olive oil.
Sprinkle evenly with salt and pepper
Squeeze the lemon juice over the asparagus.
Place the asparagus in the oven to cook for about 8 to 10 minutes, or until the asparagus is tender but crisp, and cheese is golden.
Remove from oven and grate Parmesan cheese over the top of the asparagus.
Sprinkle fresh Parmesan cheese evenly over the top of the asparagus.
Return to oven to bake for about 5 more minutes until cheese is melted and lightly browned, and asparagus is tender.
