- 8 oz Pillsbury Crescent Roll Dough
- 4 slices Mozzarella Cheese
- 24 Lit'l Smokies Smoked Sausages
- 24 Pepperoni
- 4 TBS melted unsalted butter
- 2 TBS Grated Parmesan Cheese
- 1 tsp Italian Seasoning
- 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone liner and set it aside.
Roll out the crescent roll dough from the can. Use a pizza cutter to cut the dough into 24 slices. Cut in 6 slices vertically, then 3 slices horizontally. 8 oz Pillsbury Crescent Roll Dough
Cut each mozzarella cheese slice into 6 small pieces about the size of a cracker. Pat the little smokies dry with paper towels. 4 slices Mozzarella Cheese, 24 Lit'l Smokies Smoked Sausages
Add a slice of mozzarella, a pepperoni slice, and a mini smoked sausage on top of the dough. 24 Pepperoni
Roll the dough up onto itself, placing the seam side down onto the prepared baking sheet. Repeat with additional pigs in a blanket, placing them 1 to 2 inches apart.
Brush the melted butter over the top of each crescent. 4 TBS melted unsalted butter
Sprinkle the tops evenly with the Parmesan, Italian Seasoning, and Garlic Powder. 2 TBS Grated Parmesan Cheese, 1 tsp Italian Seasoning, 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
Bake the pan for 15 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and the sausages are hot throughout.
Serve hot with pizza sauce for dipping.
- Use a Pizza Cutter: For a quick way to cut the dough into even pieces, slice the dough into 6 strips the long way, then four lines the other way, for 24 even pieces.
- Crescent Roll Sheets: I love using crescent roll dough sheets for this, so its even easier to cut the dough into rectangle pieces, but if you can't find them and are using crescent roll dough you can pinch the seams together then cut, or cut each triangle into three smaller triangles instead.
- For Serving: We can't forget the pizza sauce for the ultimate pizza flavor, but you can also serve these with ranch dressing or honey mustard!
