Chocolate Chip Cookie in a Mug
This chocolate chip cookie in a mug is the perfect way to have the delicious flavors of a chocolate chip cookie in just a few minutes.
- 1 TBS unsalted butter
- 1 TBS granulated sugar
- 1 TBS brown sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 1/8 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1 pinch salt
- 2 TBS mini chocolate chips (regular size is fine too)
Add the butter to a mug and microwave it for 20-30 seconds, or until melted.
Add in the granulated sugar, and brown sugar and stir it together until combined.
Add in the egg yolk and vanilla extract and stir until smooth.
Stir in the flour, and salt.
Stir in about 1 1/2 TBS of the chocolate chips.
Sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips over the top of the batter.
Microwave on high for 40 to 60 seconds, checking first after 40 seconds to see if the cookie looks done (it should spring back lightly when touched).
Enjoy warm topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
