Ingredients

  • 12 large unfrosted sugar cookies
  • 2 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 10 oz white chocolate melting wafers (or candy melts, or high quality white chocolate chips)
  • holiday sprinkles

Instructions

  • Add the cookies to a blender or food processor and blend until they have turned into a fine crumb.
  • Add in the cream cheese and mix it into the sugar cookie crumbs until you have a cookie dough like consistency.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Use a small cookie scoop to portion out 1 Tablespoon sized portions and roll it into balls. Place them onto the prepared baking sheet.
  • Freeze the balls for about 20-30 minutes, or until firm.
  • Add the white chocolate to a microwave safe bowl for 1 minute. Stir as much as you can. Melt in additional 20 second increments, stirring after each until you can stir it totally smooth.
  • Dip the balls into the white chocolate with a fork, tap the fork on the side of the bowl to remove excess chocolate.
  • Transfer the ball back to the cookie sheet. Remove it from the fork with a toothpick if needed.
  • Top immediately with sprinkles if desired. Let the balls sit until the chocolate is set.
