Thanksgiving Gravy

Ingredients

unsalted butter
(1/2 stick)

all purpose flour

turkey drippings*
salt
(to taste)
pepper
(to taste)
Instructions
Slice the butter into thin pieces and melt it in a large sauce pan over medium high heat.
Once the butter is melted add in the flour and stir it together with the butter till combined. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until nice and fragrant.
Slowly pour in the liquid while whisking to combine everything together.
Bring to a slow boil and allow everything to cook until gravy gets to desired thickness.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
