You do realize that is not mexican food right?
Aimee Berrett says
Sorry that you don’t feel like these are Mexican food. I’ve been to lots of “mexican” restaurants that serve many of these dishes.
Dulce Perez says
I would agree with you Simon, as someone from Mexico this is disrespectful to our culture. These recipes are not authentic and have been Americanized; to no surprise. 5 de Mayo? Also only celebrated by Americans. In Mexico we do no celebrate that.
Aimee says
I’m so sorry Dulce, I was not trying to be disrespectful in my post at all. As an American I’m sure most of the food ideas are Cal-Mex or Tex-Mex, and I will work on updating my post to reflect that.

Hi I have to tell you that I don’t recognize any of that food as Mexican , theirs a difference between tex mex and Mexican food .
Aimee Berrett says
I wouldn’t call any of it “Tex Mex” as I’ve never eaten Mexican food from Texas… maybe California Mexican 😉
Sally says
We just had mexican for dinner… and suddenly I’m craving it all over again. My favorite kind of food ever 🙂

Great post! Thank you for featuring my crunchwrap supreme–it is my most popular post on the blog! 🙂

Of course they are popular! Look how delicious they look! I love crunch wraps from taco bell, but always feel a little guilty getting them cause the cost and health factors. If I make them at home I feel a little less badly about it 🙂

Thanks Katie! I do love Asian foods too! Maybe I’ll do a Chinese New Year Round up next year 🙂
Let me know if you try any of these out!
