<p>This homemade version comes together in just a few minutes, and tastes so much better than anything you can buy at the store. It&rsquo;s especially delicious on your fruit filled salads, spinach salads, or my favorite a fresh green salad loaded with berries, nuts, and chicken!</p>



<p>This dressing has the best balance of a creamy texture, with a sweet and tangy flavor, without being too heavy. Its rich enough to coat every bite of your salad, while still tasting light and fresh!</p>



<p>It uses just a few ingredients that you probably already have in the kitchen, so its super easy to whip up anytime! I love it with berries, peaches, mangoes, apples, cranraisins. This dressing also goes great on a salad with bleu cheese, feta, toasted almonds, candied walnuts, red onion, or spring mix.&nbsp;</p>

<p><strong>Step 2: Add in the Poppy Seeds.</strong> Stir in the poppy seeds, and taste the dressing. Add more sugar for a sweeter flavor, or more vinegar for more tang if desired. Chill overnight, or serve immediately over your favorite salad.</p>

<li><strong>Adjust the Consistency: </strong>For a thinner dressing add more milk, for a thicker dressing dressing add less milk.</li>



<li><strong>Let it Chill: </strong>The dressing is great served immediately, but the flavors really blend together so well after letting it refrigerate and chill overnight.</li>



<li><strong>If it Separates: </strong>If your dressing separates a little in the fridge, its totally normal. Just shake it up or stir before serving.</li>



<li><strong>Serving Size:</strong> The recipe makes about 1 1/4 cups of dressing. So it makes about 8 portions of about 2.5 TBS each, or 9 portions of 2 TBS each. The nutrition information is calculated for 8 portions.</li>
