Can whipping cream whipped be used in place of cool whip ?
Aimee says
You’d want to whip the whipping cream with a little sugar to sweeten it a bit, and it won’t be as fluffy but will work!

Once this dip is made can it be refrozen
Aimee says
I’m not sure if it can be frozen, I’ve never frozen a fruit dip

THIS is the recipe I have always used with both cream cheese and whipped topping with marshmallow cream. Like the other poster, I add a few shakes of cinnamon, too. Hands down, the best recipe!

I made this for Thanksgiving and was immediately asked to bring it for Christmas. Big hit. I am now eating fruit with it at home.

What is cool whip ?
Aimee says
It’s a store bought stabilized whipped cream. You should be able to substitute 3 cups of a homemade whipped cream
Carla E says
You will find Cool Whip in the refrigerated section, likely, where desserts are.
