Chicken Caesar pasta salad is a delicious mix of pasta salad and chicken Caesar salad and is perfect for lunch or a light dinner!
This chicken caesar salad adds some pasta to the mix to make the salad even more filling and delicious. I love making it for lunch or for dinner!
This chicken caesar pasta salad is packed full of flavor, but with minimal effort. You’re welcome to make your own caesar salad dressing, but I just grab my favorite from the grocery store. You’ll saute or grill up some chicken, boil your favorite short noodles, I like rotini, farfalle (bow tie), or penne. Mix the chicken, pasta, cut lettuce, shredded parmesan, croutons, and your dressing and voila.
My husband who is not typically a fan of salads has even said that this is his type of salad. I’m not sure if that’s a good thing or a bad thing, but he definitely prefers less lettuce and more substance, so this pasta salad is perfect for that.
I’m not really sure if this salad is more of a typical chicken caesar salad with pasta, or a pasta salad with lettuce, but either way you have it, it’s delicious!

This was delicious..went down a treat with my whole family…..I used bow tie pasta, seasoned my chicken with Montreal Chicken seasoning and garlic powder…everyone reached for a second helping.

I was very skeptical as I have never paired Pasta and lettuce, this was absolutely delicious! We bought Italian seasoned individual chicken breasts, grilled 3 of them seasoned with Everglades Seasoning and garlic powder, added sliced cherry tomatoes and about 1/4 cup fresh basil chopped. Used store bought dressing and Caesar croutons also store bought. Since it was only my husband and myself, we added dressing and I added shredded Parmesan cheese since he does not like it. I used Farfalle pasta because I had it, any good dense pasta will work. We will add this to our frequent dinner list and we both have lunch for tomorrow.
Thank you for posting this recipe!

Hey, what are some good Caesar salad dressings? I don’t like over powering or heavy dressings.
Aimee says
I usually like the Lite House Dressing

We love Marie Callendar’s Caesar, and I’m including two teenage boys when I say “we”. I have ordered Caesar salads in restaurants and have sometimes gotten stuck with a very fishy taste since anchovy paste is usually part of the recipe. The Marie dressing is SO flavorful without any fishy taste.

Hi,
Can you tell me how much one serving is?
Aimee says
About 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 cups.

I’ll be honest, I was a bit skeptical of pasta and lettuce mixed, but this was amazing. Plus so customizable which is great. My kids like the noodles and chicken. I’ve had this a few times while we’re on lockdown to offset some of the home baked goodies. It’s fresh and simple and easy!

I’m so glad it’s been a winner for you guys!

We loved it! Thank you! Baked some chicken breast at 450 for 15 minutes sprinkled smoker paprika, garlic powder, and salt and pepper on them after brushing them with oil.
Used Barilla Protein Plus Noodles so it would fill us up. Yum!

What brand of dressing did you use? And just ceaser crutons, or regular?
Ellen says
Caesar croutons were used. If you have a favorite brand of dressing use that one. I like almost all brands of Caesar dressing. Hope that helps a little.

What a fun and different twist on a classic salad. I love pasta and Cesar is my favorite salad. Combining the two has to be a winner in my book. Pinning
