This classic cheese ball is the perfect appetizer for the holidays! It’s packed full of flavor and perfect served with your favorite crackers or sliced vegetables.
I love eating a delicious cheese ball at a holiday party or holiday meal! And they’re so easy to make, it’s the perfect appetizer for the holidays. Perfect before Thanksgiving dinner when you’re doing the final prep of the turkey and all the thanksgiving fixings. Perfect for a Christmas Ugly Sweater party. Or a great idea for a New Year’s Eve celebration with all the delicious appetizers you’ll be enjoying!
This classic cheese ball couldn’t be any easier to make with only a few ingredients and it comes together in just a few minutes. It can be eaten shortly after you make it or made ahead of time, so you don’t have to worry about anything when it’s time to serve it up. This cheese ball can be made up to a week in advanced, so it’s the perfect way to take the stress away the day of an event.
This cheese ball is the perfect party dish and it’s one of my favorite recipes to make for a party or event.
This classic cheese ball is packed full of the perfect flavors. It’s made with cream cheese, cheddar cheese, fresh chives, Worcestershire sauce, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano and salt. The flavors all combine perfectly for just the right flavor.
It’s so easy to make, you will just combine the ingredients all together in a bowl. You can use a hand mixer, a stand mixer, or just use a spoon. After everything is mixed you’ll place everything into plastic wrap to form it into a ball. Then you’ll roll it all into some chopped pecans and place it in the fridge till you’re ready to serve it.
If you’re making it in advanced, or at least if you’re making it several days in advanced I recommend waiting to roll the cheese ball in the nuts until a day or a few hours before serving. If you roll it in the nuts sooner than that then the nuts will get soft.

This was a delicious and easy recipe! I used green onions instead of chives like another commented. We like to eat it with wheat thins. As a happy accident, I ate a bite with pomegranate and it was TASTY! I will definitely be making this again.

Oh, yes! This IS the perfect cheese ball! Basic and delicious with garlic butter flavored crackers. I like to put 1/4C finely chopped nuts in the cheese ball as well as covering the outside with nuts. This makes one very nice cheese ball!
