These strawberries and cream floats are like a classic root beer float, with a fun twist making them adorably pink, and so delicious.
These strawberries and cream floats are so adorably pink they would be so fun for Valentine’s Day. And it’s such such a fun way to make Valentine’s Day special for the kids too! I love making the holidays special for my kids, and that means celebrating Valentine’s Day with heart shaped pancakes for breakfast, and these “cupid floats” for a fun and special treat.
Top them with a few adorable red and pink sprinkles, and maybe even try a red vine for a straw, and voila – so perfect for Valentine’s Day!
How to make strawberries and cream floats?
It only takes about 1 minute to make one of these drinks, which is my kind of recipe. And they must be enjoyed quickly before the ice cream melts too much and they just turn into foam.
Start by adding about 2 TBS of strawberry syrup to the bottom of a tall glass.
Then fill the glass with sprite, or another sweet neutral soda (7up, Sierra Mist, Fresca, Ginger Ale, etc.) Stir them together till your drink is nice and pink.
Add a big scoop of vanilla ice cream to the glass.
Then top it with some whipped cream.
Serve immediately, and enjoy!
These strawberry and cream floats are such a fun pink drink. They are kid and adult friendly, so easy to make, and I’m pretty sure we will be making them all spring and summer long!
